La casa es mi casa :)

Well, I guess it's time to give a house update, since the previous post brings it up.... We're all set to be homeowners!! Offers have been accepted, appraisals appraised, and inspections inspected. We should close sometime the first week in November and then the painting and moving begin!

Here is our cute little house:

It's a 3 bedroom, 1 bath super cute place, all hardwood, updated (but small) kitchen, and a HUGE backyard with raised vegetable beds and an apple tree. I can't wait to become a gardener! Sean's excited for the two car garage, it affords him lots of manly workspace and he already has quite a few projects planned. We're doing new paint, heating, and windows hopefully right away, everything that's there now is fine, we just want to upgrade. More long term plans include a hot tub (hoorah!), installing a sliding glass door in the office, a new bathroom counter, and possibly a brick bbq in the back, or new driveway in front. We're really excited! Once it's ours, I'll definitely post pictures!

Gotta be accountable...

It's my day off, and if I don't write down my to-do list, it'll never get done. I figure if it's on the internet, then I'll REALLY have to get it done, cause I won't want to admit I was crazy lazy all day... :)

Here's my grand day:

*Finish laundry
*Put away laundry (getting BOTH aspects done is very important!)
*Clean up living room
*Clean bathroom
*Exchange sweater
*Organize house paperwork
*Call about inspections
*Lunch with Gillette
*Go through magazines and comics, read or recycle
*Clean litter box
*Make dinner
* Send reminder message about dinner tomorrow night

We'll see how it goes!

7:47 pm update... well, the items in red are done... oops... and we bought dinner.... double oops...
when this debate is over, I'll get to work! Maybe.... :)

Wednesday morning update: Well, I didn't get all of it done. I'm not sure I got half of it done! But oh well, it was a good day off, and there's always tomorrow!

Updates....

So... we're still house searching/wanting... the house we were going to make an offer on is still an option, but we want to look a little more before we decide what we're gonna do. We're both such impulse buyers, and this is DEFINITELY not an impulse purchase. Hopefully we'll know more in the next few days, cause I can't handle all of this stress, all of the time!

On a happy side note, our boys of Boston won their 1st ALDS game last night, woot to Jacoby and our new friend Jason Bay for being AMAZING! Game 2 is tomorrow night, and you know my house will be ALL OVER that TV! Go Red Sox, and good luck White Sox tonight! Get those Rays! :)

I love October....
