LOL!!! I seriously laughed out loud on that one...lol...and am still laughing. I'm sorry April was the pits....UG! Steph...half marathon this Sunday...HURRAH!!! It's gonna rock! You deserve a fabulous MAY! Hey, maybe the whole cliche "April showers bring May flowers," is really a metaphor for May always being better than April...whether in regards to the weather...or all things. : )
april is actually bad luck for me/us. when i was in afghan, almost everything really horrible that happened, happened in april; i lost two friends, myself and a couple other friends were hurt in an explosion, and our fob was attacked (although that was fun). so april is just a crap-lousy month, and the fact that i got song of doom-ed on april 1 just made it worse. it's not really about "april showers bringing may flowers", as much as it's "april repeatedly punches you in the face, and hopefully the black eyes are gone by may."
I'm sorry April was so bad for you! Our April wasn't too bad, just BUSY!! Birthdays/parties, Easter, lots of church meetings, etc. We are TOTALLY looking forward to May and hoping it will be more low-key.
Dang! I forgot you were going Saturday NIGHT! We JUST bought our tickets last weekend and were able to get better seats for the matinee showing at 2pm versus the evening show. Have you heard the soundtrack? You will love the show! It's hilarious!!
I thought Sean wrote this post but the capitalization is throwing me. The sarcasm and derision don't really seem like Steph’s personality. But if her personality has taken a hiatus then.... ??? I'm sorry April was crummy. I hear that Aprils in the past were supper crummy but future Aprils can only get better. Right????
hahaha, it was totally me (steph) that wrote it. April was DUMB and I was thrilled for it to leave. And yeah, I love me some sarcasm :) Thanks for the words of encouragement for future Aprils though, maybe I won't be dreading them for 11 months!
